Wardrobe Clone Privacy Policy
Wardrobe Clone is published by Vilasi, Inc., a North Carolina corporation. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the app, and what happens when you visit our website. If you have a question, email us at robert@vilasigrowth.com.
What you enter stays on your device
Everything you add to Wardrobe Clone is stored in your browser's storage on the phone, tablet or computer you are using. It is not uploaded to us. That includes:
- photos of your clothes, shoes and accessories, including any version with the backdrop cleared
- the details you add to each piece: name, category, colour, seasons, formality, occasions, brand, size, price paid, product links and notes
- your outfits, the dates you wore them, and saved layout previews
- event plans, closet gap choices and packing lists
- your headshot and full-body photo, if you add them
Because we never receive this information, we cannot see it, and we cannot recover it if it is lost. Clearing your browser's site data, deleting the app, or losing your device can erase it. To keep a copy, use More, then Backup and data, then Save backup file. The backup file is saved wherever you choose and is not sent to us.
Photos of you
Your headshot and full-body photo are optional. They are stored only on your device and used only to show the layout preview inside the app. You can delete them at any time from More, then Photos of me. If you save a backup file, these photos are included in it, so keep backup files somewhere private.
Links and affiliate disclosure
Wardrobe Clone builds search links to shops and resale sites, such as Google Shopping, Nordstrom, eBay, Poshmark, thredUP and The RealReal. When you tap one, it opens that site in your browser, and the words in the search are sent to that site as part of the link. What happens on their site is covered by their own privacy policies and terms, not this one.
Some links may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, Vilasi, Inc. may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Visits to our website
When you visit the Wardrobe Clone website, the hosting service we use loads a visitor-identification tool. It stores an identifier in your browser, records the pages you view, and may match your visit with information from third-party data providers, which can include contact and demographic details, so we can recognize visitors and follow up. It may also use advertising-measurement tools from companies such as Meta and Google. A notice on the website lets you opt out, and we treat a browser Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out. Visitors in Europe and the UK are asked before anything runs. You can also opt out, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing us at the address above. This applies to the website, not to what you enter in the app.
Purchases
If you buy a subscription or an in-app purchase in the iPhone or Android app, the payment is handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details. To know what you have bought on any of your devices, the app uses RevenueCat, a service that keeps a record of your purchases (product, date, store receipt) linked to a random app user ID. It does not include your name or email, and it is not used for advertising or tracking.
Your choices
- Delete a piece, outfit or trip at any time from its screen.
- Delete your headshot or full-body photo from More, then Photos of me.
- Erase everything from More, then Backup and data, then Erase everything.
- Opt out of website visitor tracking with the notice on the website, a Global Privacy Control signal, or by emailing us.
- Ask what information we hold about your website visits, or ask us to delete it, by emailing robert@vilasigrowth.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Wardrobe Clone works, we will update this policy and its effective date. If a future version would send any of the information you enter off your device, we will ask you first, inside the app, before anything is sent.
