Scene Partner Privacy Policy

Published by Vilasi, Inc. · Effective October 11, 2026 · Updated October 13, 2026

Scene Partner is published by Vilasi, Inc., a North Carolina corporation (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the Scene Partner app, and what happens when you visit the Scene Partner website. Questions are welcome at robert@vilasigrowth.com.

What you enter stays on your device

The scripts you add, the lines you record, your self-tape video takes, your character and voice choices, and your rehearsal progress are stored in your browser’s storage on the device you’re using. They are not uploaded to us, and we don’t have a copy.

Because we never receive this information, we cannot recover it for you. If you clear your browser’s data, uninstall the app, or lose the device, it’s gone. Use Settings, Save backup to keep a copy of your scripts, progress and (optionally) recorded lines, and download any self-tape takes you want to keep.

Microphone and camera

Scene Partner asks for the microphone only when you choose to record your lines, and for the camera and microphone only when you open the self-tape camera. Recordings stay on your device until you download or share them yourself. You can turn off access at any time in your browser or device settings.

Text-to-speech

Partner lines are read aloud using the voices built into your device or browser. Depending on your device and the voice you pick, your device’s maker may process that speech as part of its own voice service, under its own privacy terms.

Visits to our website

When you visit the Scene Partner website, the hosting service we use loads a visitor-identification tool. It stores an identifier in your browser, records the pages you view, and may match your visit with information from third-party data providers, which can include contact and demographic details, so we can recognize visitors and follow up. It may also use advertising-measurement tools from companies such as Meta and Google. A notice on the website lets you opt out, and we treat a browser Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out. Visitors in Europe and the UK are asked before anything runs. You can also opt out, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing us at the address above. This applies to the website, not to what you enter in the app.

Purchases

If you buy a subscription or an in-app purchase in the iPhone or Android app, the payment is handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details. To know what you have bought on any of your devices, the app uses RevenueCat, a service that keeps a record of your purchases (product, date, store receipt) linked to a random app user ID. It does not include your name or email, and it is not used for advertising or tracking.

Your choices

  • Delete a single script, its progress and its recordings from the script’s screen.
  • Erase everything Scene Partner has stored on your device in Settings, Erase everything.
  • Block microphone or camera access in your browser or device settings.
  • Opt out of website visitor identification using the website notice, a Global Privacy Control signal, or by emailing robert@vilasigrowth.com. You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it.

Children

Scene Partner isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
