Only on the device where the app is installed. Reading progress, saved words, badges, settings and Dad's Voice recordings never leave the device, so they do not move to a new device and cannot be restored by us. Deleting the app removes them.

Tap the Grown-ups tab. Parent settings, book unlocking and Dad's Voice are behind a parental gate that asks a grown-up math question; answer it to open the Grown-ups area.

In the Grown-ups area, find Dad's Voice and tap Record and manage chapters, then choose a chapter to record. The app asks for microphone access the first time. When a recording exists, Read to me plays your voice for that chapter instead of the device voice. Recordings stay on the device, and you can delete any of them from the Dad's Voice screen.

Read to me uses the voice built into your device. On iPhone and iPad you can download a better voice in Settings, Accessibility, Spoken Content, Voices. On Android, check your text-to-speech settings. Also make sure the volume is up and, on iPhone, that the ringer switch isn't on silent.

In the Grown-ups area, under Book unlocking, choose whether books open one at a time, in series order, or all at once.

In the Grown-ups area, tap Clear reading progress and confirm. To remove everything, including recordings, delete the app from the device.

There are no accounts, ads or tracking. Book 1 is free. A grown-up can unlock more books one at a time, buy the Complete Series, or join Reader Club in the Grown-ups area, behind the parental gate; children never see prices. The app goes online only for those purchases. To move purchases to a new device, use Restore Purchases in the Grown-ups area. See the privacy policy and terms of use.
