Where I Pray, published by Vilasi, Inc. · Effective November 4, 2026

The short version: Where I Pray does not collect, store or share any personal information. There is no account, no advertising and no tracking. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What the app keeps, and where

To work, the app saves a few things on your phone or tablet only: the choices you make when you set it up (such as your work, family situation and what you are going through), the name you give it if you choose to, the verses you have already seen, your favorites, your prayer journal, your reading-plan progress, your reminder times and your reading settings (such as your Bible translation). This information is kept in the app's private storage on your device. It is never sent to Vilasi, Inc. or to anyone else, and we cannot see it.

What we do not do

Reminders

If you turn on the daily reminder or a reading-plan reminder, your device schedules a local notification at the time you pick. No push service or server is involved. You can turn reminders off in the app's Settings or in your device's notification settings.

Scripture and audio

The full text of the Berean Standard Bible and the King James Version is included in the app, so reading never needs the internet. Passages without a recording are read aloud by your device's built-in voice, on the device.

Some content is downloaded from our website, vilasi.co, when you first use it and then kept on your device: chapter recordings and music the first time you play them, the scenery photos in Meditate, and the list of books, study guides and apps in Books and Study (the app checks for an updated list when it opens that screen). Each download is an ordinary file request; it carries no account, name or identifier from the app. Like any web server, the host may briefly record technical details such as the IP address of the request for security and reliability. We do not use this to identify or track you.

Links to other websites

Books and Study and About contain links to other sites, such as the BookSpace and Lulu book stores, web versions of other Vilasi apps, and free Bible-study sites. These open in your browser, outside the app. Where I Pray has no purchases inside the app. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Sharing

When you tap Share, the app hands the verse text to your device's share sheet. What happens next is up to you and the app you choose to share with.

Deleting your information

Choose Erase all my data in Settings, or delete the app. Either removes everything the app has stored. Because we never receive your information, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children

Where I Pray is suitable for all ages and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
